Background Information

Kimasian Technical and Vocational College is a public TVET College located along Kericho- Nakuru highway. The College is in Kipkelion East Constituency, Londiani Sub- County, Kericho County. The college sits on a 30 acres piece of land adequate for expansion, training and income generating activities. The land was donated by the County Government of Kericho. There are seven academic departments offering a total of thirteen accredited courses at Artisan, Certificate and Diploma levels. The college is a certified Kenya National Examination Council examination center as well as The National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). It is a center of excellence in Welding and fabrication course and has state of the art equipment from China in the trade area. Kimasian T.V.C admitted its pioneer trainees in May 2019 and has since gradually admitted over eight hundred and fifty trainees doing various courses. The college is proud to have a total of thirty nine qualified trainers who have always endeavored to provide quality training to our trainees so that they acquire the relevant skills that will in turn make them competent to fill the skill gaps currently being experienced in the country and also be self-reliant. We offer Artisan, Certificate, and Diploma level programs under the Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework.
